Kosovo Joins the International Federation for Sports Medicine

Kosovo* has achieved a milestone by becoming a regular member of the International Federation for Sports Medicine (FIMS). The decision, made during the Council of Delegates meeting, was supported unanimously.

Kosovo Association for Sports Medicine (KASEM), founded under University of Bussines and Technology’s (UBT) initiative, led the successful membership campaign.

This membership positions Kosovo as an active contributor to advancing international sports medicine and provides new opportunities for athletes and professionals. Rector Hajrizi also engaged in discussions with global delegates, Olympic committee representatives, and experts, furthering collaborations for Kosovo and the Western Balkans.
