Kosovo* Representatives Advocate for Gender Equality in the Berlin Process

Representatives from Kosovo’s Agency for Gender Equality, along with the Chairwoman of the Parliamentary Committee on Health and Social Welfare, who also leads the National Council for Sustainable Development, are actively participating in a preparatory meeting for an upcoming gender equality event within the Berlin Process.

The primary objective of this meeting is to formulate recommendations aimed at integrating gender perspectives into the Berlin Process. These recommendations are intended to ensure that gender equality is placed at the forefront of the EU membership processes and support frameworks for candidate and potential candidate countries. By advocating for gender integration, Kosovo aims to strengthen the focus on equality in all aspects of the Berlin Process, furthering the commitment to sustainable and inclusive development across the region.
