The selection process is now complete, and we are thrilled to announce the 12 outstanding initiatives that will advance to the live pitching round of the Western Balkans R&I Youth Awards! These inspiring projects have stood out for their exceptional efforts in engaging young people in research and innovation across the region between 2020 and 2024.
All eyes now turn to Skopje on 29 May, where the finalists will present their innovative ideas to a distinguished jury. Their work represents not only excellence in youth engagement but also a powerful commitment to shaping the future of research and innovation in the Western Balkans.
Should any of the selected initiatives be unable to confirm their participation, a reserve initiative may be invited to take their place.
