In the frame of the POLICY ANSWERS Capacity Building Programme, the project partner Science and Technology Park (STP) Montenegro organised a four-day training programme on the implementation of Horizon Europe projects.
Trainees acquired the necessary knowledge and skills for successful project implementation, including meeting formal requirements when signing a contract, reporting project results, using various software tools for project management, organising meetings to monitor project progress, financial reporting, project audit, as well as overcoming administrative obstacles that may arise during the project.
The training brought together 25 researchers from public and private universities in Montenegro, scientific research institutions, companies in growth and development, as well as non-governmental organizations that already have some experience, and are currently implementing or expect to start implementing Horizon Europe projects. The trainers Goran Stojanovic and Marija Sola Spasic and colleagues from the STP shared their knowledge and the evaluation demonstrated the highest satisfaction of the trainees with the events.
The training took place from 13-16 June 2023. The interest in the application was overwhelming and the STP decided to accept more candidates than previously planned and plans to arrange another identical training session before the end of the year in order to give other candidates a chance to participate in the training.
