The Institute Mihajlo Pupin carried out two significant workshops at the end of 2024 as part of the POLICY ANSWERS project. The focus of these workshops was on current and strategically important topics: the application of circular economy and green transition in business, as well as capacity building for the evaluation of science and technology projects.
The workshop on circular economy and green transition was held on 19 November 2024 in Valjevo, in collaboration with the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Kolubara and Mačva Administrative Districts. The aim of the workshop was to identify business models that enable sustainable business, as well as to increase energy efficiency by raising awareness within companies about the need to implement new technologies.
Through interactive discussions, participants considered concrete steps towards green transformation, which brings numerous challenges but also opportunities for enhancing competitiveness and placement of products and services in both domestic and international markets. The workshop was attended by 29 participants, including companies that are leaders in sustainable business practices in this region.
