A record number of 25 applicants from North Macedonia have submitted their innovative ideas to EIT Jumpstarter 2025, one of Europe’s top accelerator programmes for aspiring entrepreneurs. This marks a significant increase compared to last year’s participation, nearly tripling the number of applications in 2024.
EIT Jumpstarter is a leading programme that supports students, researchers, and professors in transforming early-stage ideas into viable businesses. Participants benefit from expert mentoring, market validation, and access to funding opportunities.
The application process closed on 2 April 2025, and submitted proposals are currently under expert evaluation. Final results will be announced on 30 April 2025. Successful teams will continue their journey towards the programme’s prestigious Grand Finale, which will take place at the end of the year in a Southeast European country—the exact location to be announced soon.
This year introduces an exciting opportunity for teams from the Western Balkans, who will compete for an additional EUR 10,000 prize for the best regional team, on top of the existing EUR 5,000 main award.
