Riinvest Researchers Complete POLICY ANSWERS Fellowship at DLR-PT, Germany

Alma Bajramaj and Tringë Shkodra, researchers from the Riinvest Institute in Kosovo, recently completed a two-week fellowship at the DLR Project Management Agency (DLR-PT) in Bonn and Berlin. The fellowship was organised in the framework of the POLICY ANSWERS project and aimed to explore how established EU Member States like Germany structure their research support systems and facilitate participation in European research and innovation programmes.

Throughout the fellowship, the researchers met with representatives from Horizon Europe, COST, Eurostars, Eureka, MSCA, ERA, and several EU-funded initiatives, gaining valuable insights into best practices for increasing research capacity and international collaboration.

The reports produced by Alma and Tringë offer key recommendations on how Kosovo can improve its participation in EU-funded research, strengthen its institutional support structures, and take better advantage of these programmes.
