On 13-14 November 2025, the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research (MIR) organised ScaleUP Bootcamp 2025, a bootcamp focused on financing, digitalization, and growth of scale-up companies. The event brought together companies ready to accelerate their growth through technology, innovation, and smart financing. Participants had the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions, expert presentations, and case studies, helping them find practical solutions to their business challenges.

During the bootcamp, participants explored:
Growth through digitalization:
- How to leverage data and artificial intelligence for better decision-making;
- How to build a culture of digital innovation within the company;
- How to maintain a balance between speed and stability during growth.
Innovation, finance and market expansion:
- Overview of the latest technologies, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and IoT;
- Techniques for co-creation, rapid prototyping, and Design Thinking;
- Preparation and presentation of a successful investor pitch.

Companies attending ScaleUP Bootcamp 2025 gained:
- practical knowledge and tools for digital scaling and growth management;
- guidance and actionable advice for accessing investors, funding, and European support programs;
- opportunities to exchange experiences and network with entrepreneurs, experts, and investors shaping the business ecosystem in Macedonia.
The bootcamp concluded with a pitch simulation before a panel of experts, who provided direct feedback and guidance for further company development.

The event was organised by the Foundation for Management and industrial research, in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network Macedonia and the POLICY ANSWERS project.
This initiative aligns with the recommendations and priorities outlined in the TwinTech Connect 2025 Communiqué, which emphasizes the need to:
- Strengthen digital capabilities;
- Promote an innovation-driven culture;
- Encourage collaboration among various actors in the ecosystem as a prerequisite for further development and transition to Industry 4.0.
Through this two-day bootcamp, MIR and its partners turn the Communiqué’s recommendations into practical action, supporting companies in their digital transformation and enhancing their efficiency and competitiveness.
