Technology Transfer Office (TTO) to Open in Podgorica

The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) will soon open in Podgorica, operating at the national level and housed within the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro (NTPCG).

According to the Ministry of Education, the signing of this Memorandum marks a new phase in the national innovation support system.

“The Memorandum sets out the establishment of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO), which will operate nationwide from its base within the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, fostering collaboration between academia and industry,” the announcement stated.

The Technology Transfer Office will promote cooperation between the academic sector and the economy, with the goal of developing new products, services, and technologies to boost the country’s competitiveness and economic strength.

The office’s target groups and end users include universities, research institutions, innovators, small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, entrepreneurs, investors, government bodies, and international partners, fostering synergy between knowledge and innovation.
