Tirana Science Talks is the flagship initiative of the Center for Science and Innovation for Development (SCiDEV), dedicated to bridging the gap between research and society. This initiative aims the massification of science, empowering the public to better understand an
ethically apply scientific findings in everyday life.
More than just a series of talks, Tirana Science Talks seeks to build a dynamic community of senior and junior researchers, from academia, public, private or civil society sector and media, science enthusiasts, and professionals from diverse backgrounds—whether based in Albania or abroad, in promoting ethical research, open science, and knowledge-sharing for societal progress.
Every three months, on the last Thursday, Tirana Science Talks will bring together researchers and the general public for an open exchange of ideas. Attendees can join sessions of their choice, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and contribute to a culture of scientific curiosity and critical thinking.
