The workshop “Research Projects Beyond the Academic Framework: Collaboration with Industry and Business Skill Development” was held on 20-21 November 2024 at the University of Sarajevo – Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies “Prof. Dr. Zdravko Grebo.“
The workshop was implemented as part of the Horizon Europe project “POLICY ANSWERS – Supporting the Creation of Research and Innovation Policies, Implementation, and Support in the Western Balkans,” in which the University of Sarajevo is participating alongside 14 other partners. The goal of the workshop was to strengthen the capacities of relevant institutions and stakeholders in research and development, aligned with identified needs, strategic documents, and, above all, the priorities defined in the Agenda for the Advancement of the Western Balkan Countries in the areas of science and innovation.
The workshop was designed for researchers, scientists, and innovators at the University of Sarajevo to enhance their business skills for effective collaboration with industry. During the event, participants had the opportunity to explore methods for presenting their projects beyond the research framework and directing them towards industrial partners. The workshop also covered market segmentation and the application of the Social Selling strategy.
The lecturers for the workshop were Prof. Dr. Melika Husić-Mehmedović from the University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Economics, and Prof. Dr. Selma Kadić-Maglajlić from Copenhagen Business School.
