Representatives of the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) from the Western Balkans took part in the EU Enlargement Forum held in Brussels on 18 November 2025, an event that brought together EU leaders, national officials, civil society, and young people to discuss the future of Europe and EU enlargement. The YEAs actively followed discussions and contributed insights on democratic reforms, economic opportunities, mobility, and European values, ensuring that youth perspectives from candidate countries were included in key debates.
They participated in multiple panels and had the opportunity to meet European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, highlighting the importance of youth voices in shaping enlargement policy and encouraging young people across the Western Balkans to engage with the historic opportunity of EU integration.
Beyond policy discussions, the forum facilitated networking with stakeholders, regional partners, and other youth ambassadors, strengthening the YEAs’ understanding of the enlargement process and motivating them to share the forum’s messages within their communities.
