The final event of the BoostMeUp Vol. 4 programme, the Montenegro Pitching Competition 2025, was held at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, bringing together startup teams, investors, mentors, and representatives from the innovation and business community in Montenegro and the WB region.
An expert jury evaluated the participating startups, consisting of representatives from institutions and organisations engaged in innovation and entrepreneurship: Marica Melović (Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation), Kosta Strunjaša (Deltahas), Valentine Radulović (STP Montenegro), Milena Lipovina Božović (University of Montenegro), and Miraša Šljivačanin (One Montenegro). They were joined by representatives from venture capital funds and business angel networks, including Vladimir Nedović (Azimut Zero), Miloš Matić (Omorica Ventures), Dana Atanasković (DSI), Miloš Kujović (South Central Ventures), and Kristian Asani (Silicon Garden Fund), who assessed the investment potential of the projects and provided development recommendations.
The first-place award, along with financial support of €15,000, was given to AI HEAL, a team focused on applying artificial intelligence to medical diagnostics and health monitoring. The team is part of OneAI and operates from STP Montenegro.
Second place and a €10,000 prize went to BOCCUN, a digital platform designed to connect winemakers and wine consumers. The team behind the project comes from Web Falan, also residents of the park.
STARKO, a project aimed at automating customer service through AI solutions, was awarded third place and received €5,000. The team is developing its solution with support from STP Montenegro’s infrastructure and coworking facilities.
In addition to financial awards, the top teams received professional support in areas such as international market entry and business scaling.
The Montenegro Pitching Competition marks the conclusion of the BoostMeUp pre-acceleration programme, which supports the development and commercialisation of local innovations. The programme is implemented in partnership with IPC Technopolis, STP Montenegro, the University of Montenegro, ICT Hub Belgrade, Elektroprivreda Montenegro, One Montenegro, and the Eco Fund.
