The Sector for Public health, European integration and International cooperation is in charge of following modern achievements concerning development of public health in EU countries, neighboring countries and other countries in the world in terms of development of public health in the Republic of Srpska, according to recommendations of World Health Organisation. In cooperation with other sectors of Ministry this sector plans and prepares public health policies, strategies, programmes, and projects in order to improve health of population. Also, in cooperation with other sectors of Ministry and other Ministries the sector plans and prepares laws and subordinate legislations in order to improve and to update public health in the Republic of Srpska with EU regulatives, standards and normatives in public health area.
