Internship programme of German Business for the Countries of the Western Balkans

Description of the programme / policy

Each year, the internship programme awards up to 75 scholarships for a six-month internship in Germany to students or young graduates from the Western Balkans. The internships provide scholarship holders with an insight into the corporate culture in Germany while enabling them to acquire practical professional experience and international skills.

Main objective of the programme/policy

Graduates from the countries of the Western Balkans have better prospects on the labour market.

Specific objective of the programme/policy

The scholarship holders gain an insight into the corporate culture in Germany and get to know management methods and working processes in modern organisations.
