Description of the programme/policy
Programme for the preparation of projects and potential candidates for funds from the HORIZON EUROPE fund”: The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina awards grant funds for the co-financing of projects that, in any way, contribute to the development of science and innovation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and contribute to the implementation of strategic documents and international obligations in the field of science in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This grant fund amounts to 440,000 KM annually and refers to the following: a) Support for the preparation of projects for open ongoing calls within the HORIZON EUROPE programme and the implementation of approved projects within the HORIZON EUROPE programme
b) Support for participation in actions within the COST programme
c) Support for the preparation and implementation of projects within the EUREKA programme
d) Support to projects that contribute to increased participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the HORIZON EUROPE programme
e) Support to the work of the EURAXESS center. 2- “Support for technical culture and innovation”: Funds for the ongoing grant “Support for technical culture and innovation in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, in the amount of 117,000.00 KM, are provided in the budget of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Funds are allocated for co-financing projects from areas of innovation and technical culture through a public competition in accordance with the criteria defined by the Decision of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The smallest amount of funds that can be allocated from this grant is 4,000.00 KM and the maximum amount is up to 20,000.00 KM.

Support with the participation of BiH. researcher in the Horizon Europe Programme, the COST programme and the EUREKA programme.
Specific objective of the programme/policy
Increase the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Horizon Europe, Cost and EUREKA programmes.
Time frame
Programmes are implemented on an annual basis. In case of non-approval of the Budget of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the annual level, the implementation of the programme is postponed.
