Main objective of the programme/policy
To examine and enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance mechanisms within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) by evaluating the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the EHEA (ESG) and exploring alternative approaches that respond better to trends and innovations in higher education.
Specific objective of the programme/policy
a. Provide a comprehensive overview of the current landscape of internal and external quality assurance practices. b. Investigate how existing quality assurance activities address evolving trends and innovations in higher education beyond the scope of the ESG. c. Assess the effectiveness of the ESG framework in facilitating responsive quality assurance practices.
