Digital Europe: GenAI for the Public Administrations

The DIGITAL-2026-AI-09-GENAI-PA call, part of the Digital Europe Programme, seeks to support the integration of generative AI (GenAI) solutions into public administrations across Europe. The call funds a Coordination and Support Action (CSA) that will coordinate and support pilot GenAI projects already underway, with the objective of scaling up, replicating, and promoting successful GenAI implementations in the public sector.

The action aims to:

  • Enhance the scalability and replication potential of GenAI solutions in public administrations;
  • Identify common needs across public administrations for “Made in Europe” GenAI solutions, helping to pool demand and support European AI start-ups;
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among administrations and stakeholders to build a sustainable GenAI ecosystem in Europe;

The grant provides up to €1.8 million in EU funding over a 36-month period.
