Horizon Europe Work Programme 2025: Digital, Industry and Space

Digitalisation and technological progress are shaping all areas of the economy and society and influencing industrial development – including space research. Horizon Europe’s Cluster 4 “Digital, Industry and Space” supports key digital and industrial technologies and space technologies that are strategically important for Europe’s industrial future. The aim is to build a resilient, green and digital Europe.

Annual calls for proposals with specified topics are grouped into six areas as part of strategic planning and according to their expected impact:

  1. Climate-neutral, circular, digitalised production;
  2. A digitalised, resource-efficient and resilient industry;
  3. The development of world-leading data and computer technologies;
  4. the development of digital and new technologies to ensure competitiveness in the Green Deal;
  5. strategic autonomy in the development, provision and application of global space-based infrastructures, services and data;
  6. the people-oriented, ethical development of digital and industrial technologies.

Cluster 4 focuses on the development of core technologies to address challenges in various industrial sectors such as health, transport, energy, culture, food and agriculture.
