The Foundation for Management and Industrial Research (MIR) is a non-profit R&D organisation established in 2002 in Skopje, North Macedonia, specialising in policy research, innovation support, sustainable
development, and capacity building. MIR’s core competencies span the design and implementation of R&I strategies, facilitation of technology transfer, support for digital and green transitions, and promotion of
multi-stakeholder cooperation. The foundation has a proven track record in producing analytical studies, policy briefs, and training programmes aligned with regional and EU policy frameworks, and has been an active
partner in POLICY ANSWERS, the Enterprise Europe Network, and a range of green and digital innovation initiatives. Its established networks with public authorities, academia, and industry give MIR the institutional
grounding to contribute to evidence-based policymaking and R&I capacity building in North Macedonia. In POLICY ENLARGE, MIR leads Task 4.7.
