Meeting of the Western Balkans Steering Platforms on Research and Innovation & Education and Training (14 – 15 May 2025, Podgorica)

The European Commission, the EU Council Presidency and Montenegro on behalf of the Western Balkans region are co-chairing the next meeting of the Steering Platforms on Research and Innovation & Education and Training.
The event is open only upon invitation and will be held on 14 – 15 May 2025 in Podgorica. Online registration is open to the selected invitees who can access the data protection notice below for their information.

The meeting of the Western Balkans Steering Platforms on Research and Innovation & Education and Training will provide the opportunity to discuss the latest policy developments, priorities and opportunities for cooperation in both thematic domains. The agenda also features a sessions dedicated to Smart Specialisation as well as an MSCA technial session. The event will provide for preparatory discussions and presentations in view of the next Western Balkans Platforms Ministerial Meeting, which is scheduled to take place in Podgorica on 20 – 21 October 2025.
