Launch of the Community of Practice (CoP) on Nature-Based Solutions in the Western Balkans

On March 12, IUCN Eastern Europe and Central Asia and the EU4Green project are launching the Community of Practice on Nature-Based Solutions (CoP) in Skopje, North Macedonia.

This event will serve as a platform for networking and regional cooperation, supporting sustainability and climate resilience in the Western Balkans.

This event will provide

• Insights into the role of NbS in the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans
• Overview of the CoP initiative and its benefits
• Practical applications, including the EU4GREEN Handbook on NbS for Riparian Buffer Zones
• Case studies from NbS pilot projects in Serbia & Albania implemented within the Adapt project
• Interactive discussions on challenges, collaboration, and financing
