Horizon Europe, the EU’s flagship research and innovation programme, relies on the expertise of independent evaluators to guarantee the quality, fairness and impact of project funding decisions. Yet, participation from the Western Balkans remains limited – leaving significant potential for the region’s experts to influence Europe’s scientific and innovation landscape.
