The Ecsite Conference is a global meeting of 900+ science engagement professionals from over 50 countries who join together to share their expertise, learn from one another and make valuable professional connections.
n.b. there is a conference fee to be paid.
The programme consists of the following elements which are all included in the Conference registration fee:
- More than 75 sessions which explore a wide range of topics from exhibit development to the relationship between science and society
- Two thought-provoking keynote addresses
- Diverse showcase events on AI, Travelling exhibitions, Projects and the Grand Bazaar
- 50+ vibrant companies at the Business Bistro trade show
- The Gala Dinner and Nocturne evening receptions
- First-time attendees are welcomed at the Newcomers Breakfast to network and meet the programming committee
The 2024 Ecsite Conference is hosted by Kersnikova Institute at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ljubljana, Slovenia and takes place between 5 and 8 June 2024.
Target group: Professionals directly involved with the public; people who shape the programming at science centres and museums; exhibitions developers, directors of education, CEOs and Managing Directors, university students, professors and researchers; managers and coordinators of ground-breaking EU and global projects; and senior-level managers of the world’s leading science engagement institutions and more are all welcome.
