JRC Summer School on the Evaluation of Air, Soil and Water Pollution in Support to the European Green Deal: a holistic Approach

4 - 8 September 2023

This summer school is organised in the framework of the Innovation Agenda for the Western Balkans with the aim to develop green skills for a more sustainable and resource-efficient society.

The JRC is pleased to announce the Summer School on the evaluation of air, soil and water pollution in support to the European Green Deal: a holistic approach organised by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre in partnership with Novi Sad University.

This training is a joint activity between the Joint Research Centre & the University of Novi Sad. It covers topics related to the evaluation of air, soil and water pollution. During the event, the participants will have the possibility to learn how to use the JRC tools for emissions and impact evaluation, become familiar with novel methods to improve water quality and soil health and discover more about advanced measurement techniques.

The uniqueness of this event consists of learning from JRC experts in the fields of air, soil and water pollution, sharing knowledge and expertise with other students in the Western Balkans region and enlarging scientific networks.

We offer five days in-person interactions, lectures provided by key experts in the field, practical applications and involvement in fieldwork.
