Thinking out-of-the-box with New European Bauhaus on cultural heritage buildings management and policy making
Mark your calendars!
The Multi Stakeholder Form launch event is taking place on 21 October 2024, 11:00 – 12:45 CET (online).
Register here by 15 October!
The event is hosted by the INHERIT project consortium partners Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI) and the Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI) and is addressed to researchers and practitioners, equally.
The INHERIT Multi-Stakeholder Forum is a temporary space with yearly events between 2024 and 2027 for mutual learning and networking, bringing together scientists, practitioners such as representatives from the creative and cultural industries, policy influencers and users of cultural heritage discussing retrofit strategies, social innovations and further associated topics.
The Forum launch event highlights the role of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) in leading sustainable change. It will show approaches from research to implementation with a focus on cultural heritage buildings. The inputs and discussion will address the practical value and the impact of the NEB on cultural heritage and retrofit – with particular attention to the question how NEB benefits the management and climate change-related adaption of buildings or cities. The event also showcases examples and first learnings from the INHERIT project, highlighting the connection between NEB values, working principles, and local stories, while showcasing both recognised and hidden cultural heritage assets.
