POLICY ANSWERS Webinar: Challenges and Opportunities for the Mission-oriented Implementation of Climate Adaptation and Sustainable Cities

Currently, there are significant differences in the level of understanding mission-based set-up and implementation of climate adaptation and Climate Neutral and Smart Cities. This does not only apply to the Western Balkans, but also core European Union regions. Therefore, projects are needed that minimise these differences and help to set up an effective mission management model.Elena Simion, UEFSCIDI, presents how the project HARMONMISSIONS addresses this challenge in the Danube Region. She highlights approaches to build the necessary knowledge capacities and governance models to enable for an effective advancement towards EU Mission goals. Opportunities for cooperation with Western Balkans are discussed.
