Supporting Circular Transitions: Join the Launch of the Western Balkans Circular Economy Hub

The successful implementation of the European Green Deal relies not only on actions within the EU, but also on the engagement of neighbouring regions such as the Western Balkans. One of the pillars of this green transition is the shift to a circular economy—an approach that aims to reduce waste and make better use of resources.

While promising, the concept of circular economy remains relatively new in the Western Balkans and is often still perceived as abstract by citizens and business owners. To bridge this gap, the region now takes a bold step forward with the creation of the Western Balkans Circular Economy Hub (WBCEH)—an initiative supported by the RECONOMY programme.

The WBCEH is designed to become a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across sectors. Its goal is to facilitate informed decision-making and support the transition to circular practices in the region. The Western Balkans Circular Economy Hub invites you at its official launch event:
