The REINFORCING Open and Responsible Research and Innovation (ORRI) Forum, hosted by the REINFORCING project is taking place on October 7 and 8, 2024, in Vienna, Austria. This working conference is set to explore global perspectives on ORRI, providing a platform for the exchange of real-world examples and insights to uncover promising innovative practices and inform policy directions.
The conference will be held both online (October 7) and on-site (October 7 & 8). Please note that on-site presence is by invitation only, and activities will be streamed exclusively on October 7. You can indicate your interest in attending the conference here.
The REINFORCING project aims to contribute to inclusive research and innovation. We recognize the critical importance of ensuring that our efforts in ORRI yield positive societal and economic benefits while safeguarding against unintended negative consequences. In this regard, this conference will bring together international professionals dedicated to advancing ORRI, fostering dynamic dialogues, sharing innovative ORRI practices, and creating a foundation for the successful mainstreaming of ORRI.
Call for ORRI Practices
In the context of this conference and whether you are able to attend or not, the REINFORCING team is inviting to participate in call for ORRI practices. This is a unique opportunity to showcase specific ORRI practices and network with international ORRI practitioners. If interested, you may submit your practice by filling out this brief template designed to help you present your practice effectively. Selected participants will have the opportunity to present their practices online (on October 7) or onsite (on October 7 or 8) during one of the working sessions of the Forum.
