Air Quality in Western Balkans Cities. Public JRC side event to the Ministerial meeting 2024

The event on air quality in Western Balkans cities and in particular sources, impact on health and costs, took place on 30 September 2024 at the Hotel DoubleTree Skopje (Rooftop Bar) from 18:00 to 18:30.

The session focused on the study led by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) “Air Quality in Western Balkans cities: sources, impact on health and costs” and on relevant policy aspects linked to air quality. The session was moderated by Sabine Henzler, Director for Strategy and Impact at the JRC and include presentations by Claudio Belis, JRC project leader and Dejan Mirakovski, Rector of the University of Goce Delcev. His presentation will focus on air quality in North Macedonia.
