The online workshop Danube Region Towards Framework Programme 10 – The path to the next MFF and Horizon Europe: Lessons learned and outlook for the Danube Region research community will take place on 10 June 2026, from 9:30 to 12:30 CET.
Organised by Priority Area 7 (Knowledge Society) of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), the workshop will explore how the Danube Region can strengthen its position in the future European research and innovation landscape.
The programme will present the current state of play of Danube countries’ participation in the European Research Area and Horizon Europe, showcase experiences and recommendations on accessing EU research and innovation funding, and provide insights into the preparation of the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), including research and innovation priorities, macro-regional aspects, and possible implications for advisory and training systems.
By bringing together policymakers, programme managers, researchers, and other stakeholders, the event aims to support dialogue, peer learning, and networking across the Danube research community.
