Making Innovation Happen in Albania. Harvesting Innovation – Unlocking Opportunities for the Albanian Ecosystem

The event “MAKING INNOVATION HAPPEN IN Albania! Harvesting Innovation – Unlocking Opportunities for the Albanian Ecosystem” takes place on 6 March 2026 – 10:30 – 12:30 at the Europe House, Tirana.

This event showcases opportunities offered by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and its Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), including InnoEnergy, EIT Digital, EIT Health, EIT Food, EIT Urban Mobility, EIT Culture & Creativity, EIT Raw Materials, EIT Manufacturing, and EIT Water. Participants will explore how EIT supports innovation, project development, international collaboration, and capacity building across a wide range of sectors.

Through presentations, interactive sessions, and networking, participants will:

• Gain practical insights into funding schemes, open calls, and participation pathways within the EIT framework;
• Connect with Albanian universities, research institutes, companies, public agencies, and European innovation stakeholders;
• Identify concrete pathways to develop, scale, and align projects with national and European innovation priorities.
