The aim of the Monthly POLICY ANSWERS Webinars is to stimulate strategic conversation on Aligning priorities in the Western Balkans with those of the EU across three thematic areas: Digital Transformation, Green Deal and Health Policy.
The PRIMA (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area) initiative serves as a pivotal platform for fostering sustainable solutions in water management, agriculture, and food systems across the Mediterranean region. This presentation will delve into PRIMA’s strategic objectives, highlighting its alignment with the EU’s Growth Plan for the Western Balkans. Attendees will gain insights into the initiative’s future plans, funding opportunities, and the mechanisms through which Western Balkan countries can actively participate and benefit. Emphasis will be placed on collaborative research, capacity building, and the role of PRIMA in accelerating the region’s integration into the European Research Area.
