Integration of Ukraine into the European Research Area

The information event “Integration of Ukraine into the European Research Area” takes place on 15 May 2026 as part of the Science Day in Ukraine, annually held on the third Saturday of May.

The event is intended to serve as a platform for discussing opportunities for Ukrainian researchers and innovators within the European and global research areas. Its aim is to promote science and innovation, as well as to foster synergies among European programmes, associations, and initiatives focused on strengthening cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary scientific mobility, activity and collaboration.

Speakers include representatives of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD), Science Europe, the Fund of the President of Ukraine for the Support of Education, Science, and Sports, the EU Delegation to Ukraine, the UNESCO Antenna in Ukraine, the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, and the DAAD Information Centre Kyiv. ▫
