The aim of the Monthly POLICY ANSWERS Webinars is to stimulate strategic conversation on Aligning priorities in the Western Balkans with those of the EU across three thematic areas: Digital Transformation, Green Deal and Health Policy.
Speaker: Branka Žižić, EIT Community Officer Montenego
Branka Žižić will provide an overview of the role of EIT Communities as drivers of EU-wide R&I integration. She will outline the position of the EIT within Horizon Europe, explain how the KICs operate, and present key data on the participation of the Western Balkans compared to other regions. Drawing on the experience of one of the first EIT Community Hubs in the region, she will highlight the opportunities created by a local presence as well as the challenges for effective implementation. Branka will also share successful examples of gradual integration—from both the international context and Montenegro.
